Designing infographics, roadmaps and other graphics for cardiovascular advocacy
Optima have developed a range of infographics, roadmaps, and other creative assets for World Heart Federation (WHF) to to effectively communicate the global burden of cardiovascular disease (CVD).
These materials play a vital role in raising awareness and influencing healthcare policy, ensuring healthcare professionals and governments are equipped with the information they need to combat CVD globally.
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide, making it critical to convey complex medical information in a way that is both accessible and engaging. WHF needed compelling visual tools that would resonate with a diverse audience, from cardiologists and healthcare professionals to policymakers and advocates.
Optima collaborated closely with WHF to create impactful visuals that support WHF's mission. A key aspect of the project was the creation of infographics that highlight key statistics, targets, and goals in the fight against CVD. These infographics are not just data representations but advocacy tools designed to raise awareness and drive action on heart health.
One of the most significant aspects of this project was WHF's 25x25 campaign, a global initiative aimed at reducing premature deaths from non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including CVD, by 25% by the year 2025. Optima created a distinct visual style for this campaign, which integrates seamlessly with the overarching WHF brand while standing out as a recognizable element of the campaign. This style was applied across various platforms—online, offline, and in exhibition environments—ensuring consistent branding and message delivery.
In addition to infographics, we developed roadmaps and other strategic visuals designed to guide healthcare professionals in the best practices for secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease.. These graphics help advocates promote best-in-class treatments, ensuring that knowledge is shared effectively across borders and among global health leaders.
